I came to this work after many years as a Therapy client myself, experiencing first hand the transformative healing and growth that is possible through a supportive therapeutic relationship.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and I hold a Diploma from the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy. I have over a decade of clinical experience including a background in sexual and reproductive health counselling in addition to my work with private practice Therapy Clients.

I hold an Honours BA in Sexuality Studies and Creative Writing from York University. My post-secondary education also includes training in the Fine Arts, and I am currently enrolled in the University of British Columbia’s Creative Writing MFA program with a focus on Poetry and Fiction writing.

I am Neurodivergent (ADHD), a single parent to two young children, a devoted friend, avid reader and writer, and passionate music lover.

In addition to registration with CRPO I am a member of the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists and the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy.

More about me…

Research shows that beyond any one modality, tool, or theoretical framework, the greatest predictor of therapeutic success is the quality of the Client-Therapist relationship. With that in mind, my approach is collaborative, client-centred, rooted in non-judgement, and a desire to build a unique relationship with each person I work with. I aim to bring my authentic self to my work in the spirit of creating a space where clients can do the same.

My training is in a Relational model of Psychotherapy which means I pay close attention to the ways that relationships, both past and present, shape people's experiences, ways of being, and personal challenges. My work is also informed by a range of other modalities and frameworks including Somatic approaches, Parts Work, Mindfulness, and Buddhist Psychotherapy.

I believe in creativity and artistic expression as an integral part of what it means to be human, and I enjoy supporting clients in tapping into their creativity as a tool for well-being.

I endeavour to meet each client where they’re at and to bring warmth, gentle curiosity, and levity into our sessions. I hope that together we will find a way of working that feels right for you.

I am sensitive to the ways that various forms of systemic oppression, social bias, and stigma can impact health and wellbeing. I value and affirm diverse identities and life experiences.
